Le Rouleur

The rouleur is a cyclist a consistent all rounder who can ride well no matter the course. The rouleur will often work as a domestique in support of their team leader, a sprinter or a climber on their team. The best chance for a rouleur to win a race is by breaking away from the main bunch during the race to win. A break away is most likely to succeed in the undulating transition stages of multi-stage road races, that are neither mountainous nor flat.

I am a rouleur of Graphic Design, my focuses are far and vast, a true all rounder. All things are related to my endeavours as a designer. Cycling is my passion and Design is my love, thus there are often parallels between the two which show up in my work. As well as throwing shapes, I can be seen spinning shields and causing a riot on the dance floor. My life is love, design, cycling, and dirty beats.

I started Uprising Media while I attened the Maryland Institute College of Art. Uprising began as a clothing line, which conceptually concentrated on politically charged satirical imagery. The idea was clothing with discourse, self aware clothes. Since then I would like to take Uprising Media further and incorporate Art and Design more thourougly to blur boundaries.

It is an ever expanding organism that is trying to understand and know. Eventually Uprising Media will expand to incorporate many different types of creative people. For now it is purely an expeirmental endeavour. The site is currently being redesigned so keep checking back as new features will be added and the overall design spruced up.
